Welcome to StormFox2 Wiki!

Hi! I hope these guides can help you setup your server or answer any questions you have regarding SF2. If you got any problems, you can reach me on Discord here.

Installing / Using SF2

Performance is heavily relied on what is installed, how big the map is and other variables. SF2 therefor dynamically adjust the quality setting to your FPS!
This can be lowered / raised in your clientside setting or the convar: sf_quality_target <fps>
Default target is: 45fps.

It is also important to know that not all maps are equal or keep the map-information Hammer deems unnecessary. Always check what is supported on the map and tweak the lighting to your liking.

Settings:

  • You can find both the Server or Client Settings in the context menu (C - menu).
  • Typing stormfox2_svmenu in the console will open the server-menu.
  • Typing stormfox2_menu will open the client menu.
  • You can also find the controller in the context menu (C - menu), or typing stormfox2_controller in the console will also open it.

Note: Server-Menu and Controller requires admin access and use CAMI to check for permissions.
