Some people like to rotate between a few avatars, maybe have a special version for an event or showing their support for a special cause. Then revert to their standard one after a period.
Right now, NB supports one avatar and you have to delete the old one to change to a new one. It would be nice to keep a few avatars and let the user choose between them or to add a new one to their collection. Maybe list the different ones available like:
X X X - Avatars uploaded to the NB profile
X - Gravatar connected with the active e-mail
X - Avatar from JomSocial
"Please choose one"
I am sure the bright heads here can come up with a better way to doing the design/functionality. Just trying to get the minds going :-) Displaying the Gravatar if available and a number (admin choose how many a user can keep) of uploaded ones would be a great start.
