Unable to start session using "Vibepollo Display Driver" anymore #702

Open

Description

@prohnstock

Bug Symptoms

Used to work fine but since 2 days ago I am unable to use the Vibepollo Display Driver: Client aborts session due to not receiving a video.

Switching to legacy SudoVDA works as expected.

I also detected an extreme high amount of virtual displays it created when skimming the logs (100+). Setup did not change:

  • PC <=> Nvidia Shield (artemis client) and/or
  • PC <=> TV (moonlight-tcl)

Expected Behavior

Able to establish a session using Vibepollo Display Driver.

    Same with me! Same behaviour but with Steam Deck as client.

    For me it started happening when installing latest update. Lots of "display helper" errors in the logs.
