Getting Started

Prerequisites

  • Node.js 18 or later.

Installation

  1. Copy the repository to your local machine.

  2. Install the necessary dependencies:

    npm install
  3. Create a .env.local file in the main folder to add your NASA API key. If you do not provide one, the app will use a default demo key:

You can get a free key at https://api.nasa.gov

  4. Start the application with Turbopack:

    npm run dev

The app will start running at http://localhost:3000
