Overview
LineageOS ships without Google's apps, and the only package its Google apps page links to is MindTheGapps. That one comes with Android Auto:
AndroidAutoStubis in its common folder on the Android 15, 16 and 17 branches (17's), and the build script copies that whole folder into the zip. So it goes in ROM-wide as partial and inferred, like notifications - it works once you've added Google apps.Issue Number
None
Additional Info
Android Auto unknowns on active rows go from 400 to 86. The 86 left are crDroid, whose Gapps button points at a different package depending on the phone, so that stays out. Google says Android Auto wants a phone with a data plan, so LineageOS's Wi-Fi tablets and handhelds get "Likely partly works" too, same as every other ROM's Android Auto fact already does. Validate and build pass.
