The error
Hello, and thank you for all your hard work!
I would like to report an issue. I'm running CachyOS Linux with an NVIDIA RTX 5060 Ti 8GB, and I'm experiencing a few problems.
My screen keeps flickering, with black lighting artifacts constantly appearing and disappearing. I'm also getting quite low FPS, averaging around 23 FPS inside Link's house.
Do you think you could look into these issues and possibly fix them?
Thank you very much for your time and hard work!

I'm on the newest release, or it still fails on it.
I searched the open issues for this error.
I'm not attaching game files or anything built from them.
I could reproduce the one-frame dark/bright flashes on Linux (RTX 3090). #415 should fix most of them.
The cause: some of the game's GPU work for a frame was replayed before the scene work and the CPU's writes it waits for were ready, so it used the previous frame's data. Forcing that work through also stalled the main thread, which cost frame rate.
In a 60 s test standing still in Kokiri Forest, flashes went from 26 to 10 and fps from ~48 to ~60. It doesn't remove every flash yet, but it's a big improvement. If you can build from that branch, I'd be interested to know whether it helps on your 5060 Ti.

Thanks for the report! This is the same problem as #145, so I'm folding it into that issue to keep everything in one place. Please follow #145, and add your log there if it shows something new.
