For big JBOD setups this parameter is an alternative to rd.kiwi.oem.maxdisk. In our use case hard-coded values for maxdisk sadly is not an option bacause of drive sizes varying across our servers. Instead the smallest , non-flashdrive storage should be selected automatically.
