Remove point-in-time provenance/audit docs - #46
Merged
Conversation
Delete three snapshot documents that captured one-off audit state at the time of specific PRs and were not referenced by any code, CI, or other docs: - native_original_src_coverage.md (C++ binding audit table) - original_tests_adoption.md (original R test adoption inventory) - r13_cache_regeneration.md (one-time cache regeneration provenance) The authoritative, living state for these concerns lives in the test suite, the committed cache, and docs/parity.md. Follow-up to #45 (the examples/parity-doc streamline), continuing the docs cleanup.
Deletes three snapshot documents that captured one-off audit state at the time of specific PRs. They are not referenced by any code, CI workflow, or other doc, and go stale silently:
docs/native_original_src_coverage.md— C++ binding audit tabledocs/original_tests_adoption.md— original-R-test adoption inventorydocs/r13_cache_regeneration.md— one-time cache-regeneration provenanceThe authoritative, living state for these concerns lives in the test suite, the committed
tests/_r_cache.json, anddocs/parity.md.Result
docs/is now 9 focused files — all either auto-generated (api_reference,api_status,benchmarks), README-linked references (conventions, parity), or load-bearing for CI/tooling (plot_parity_policy,releasing,sync_contract,sync_status). Nothing CI or the sync/release tooling depends on was touched.🤖 Generated with Claude Code
