A teammate with Write opens Boppy in a shared workspace and sees a completely blank chat: the empty-chat line is skipped there ("it's the owner's to start"), though teammates with Write can chat since 0.0.32.

An empty chat now welcomes whoever can start it, the owner or a teammate with Write on its bot, with what the bot does and three first asks that fill the message box. Read-only teammates and group chats in a shared workspace are as before.

Proof

  • Screen: Boppy's empty chat for a teammate with Write: the welcome line and "What is everyone working on?", "Help me onboard a new client", "What can this team do for me?"; picking one fills the box.
  • Before: Bops 0.0.35 on a Mac, as a teammate in a shared workspace (2026-10-31). Boppy's chat opened blank.
  • Screens: a production build (next build, next start) of origin/main plus this and the other six PRs from the same review, with a local, uncommitted guard so the server never signs in or answers a call; a headless browser played a made-up copy of a shared workspace as a teammate with Write sees it.
  • npx tsc --noEmit -p . and eslint on the touched files: clean.

Review: Reviewed with sol-loop: 1 round with gpt-6.1-sol on high. Sol verdict: approved.

secscan: VERDICT: PASS. The npm audit's 1 critical and 8 high are already on main (package-lock.json unchanged).

One of seven small PRs from a review of Bops as BrandLord's staff would use it in a shared workspace; each stands alone.

…asks

In a shared workspace an empty chat showed nothing ("it's the owner's to start"), though a teammate with Write on its bot can chat since 0.0.32. It now says what the bot does to whoever can start it, and offers three first asks that fill the message box.
