Summary

  • Synchronize the portable VideoStudio delta from Orkas release_1.6.2 (66f4e9cf..f3a6fee1) into the public package architecture.
  • Add reference-aware EDL/edit contracts, stable approval identity, current-fact operation admission, cover/reference-fidelity QA, and shot alias canonicalization.
  • Extend BYO image/video/speech adapters and CLI/MCP schemas with safe provider errors, media validation, reference inputs, and semantic video edit settings.
  • Update the host-neutral skill pack and regressions for the new planning, composition, generation, and recovery contracts.

Sync boundaries

  • Adapted 37 source files and delegated the native renderer delta to the existing HyperFrames runtime.
  • Excluded 16 Orkas-host-only files covering marketplace identity, managed providers, auth, credits, generated bundles, and host evaluation wiring.
  • No Electron BrowserWindow capture or second renderer was introduced.

Verification

The v2 sync checker passed for the committed target range with target-owned changes acknowledged. All required checks passed:

  • pnpm build
  • pnpm typecheck
  • pnpm test (214 passed)
  • pnpm benchmark (5 suites, 980,000 timed operations)
  • pnpm test:video (18 passed)
  • pnpm test:video:e2e (27 passed, including a real HyperFrames 1080p render)

The source sync baseline will be advanced after this PR is merged, so it never points at an unmerged target commit.
