Hi, I'm Pakkapon 👋

I'm a robotics software developer focused on localization, mapping, 3D perception, and warehouse automation.

I work across ROS 2 systems, sensor integration, autonomous navigation, simulation, and operational web tools. I enjoy turning sensor data into systems that are observable, testable, and useful outside the robotics lab.

Featured robotics work

A ROS 2 Humble navigation prototype combining a Pacecat M300-E 3D LiDAR and IMU, FAST-LIO, pointcloud_to_laserscan, SLAM Toolbox, Nav2, and a Hikrobot RGB-D camera for near-field perception.

An AMR simulation and LiDAR-based person-detection proof of concept using Gazebo, Nav2, CVAT, OpenPCDet, and PointPillars, with live detections displayed in RViz.

Warehouse traffic intelligence — current project

A private ROS 2 simulation for multi-forklift localization and traffic analysis. It combines 2D LiDAR, odometry, AMCL, UWB validation, congestion detection, historical heatmaps, replay, advisory route planning, and a Vite dashboard. A sanitized public case study is planned after third-party asset review.
