⚙ Installation

1 Clone Repository

git clone https://github.com/Pavan17153/student-portal-flask.git

cd student-portal

2 Create Virtual Environment

Windows

python -m venv venv

Activate

venv\Scripts\activate

Linux / macOS

python3 -m venv venv

source venv/bin/activate

3 Install Dependencies

pip install -r requirements.txt

4 Configure Environment Variables

Create a .env file.

SECRET_KEY=your_secret_key

JWT_SECRET_KEY=your_jwt_secret

DATABASE_URL=mysql+pymysql://username:password@localhost:3306/database_name

5 Run Database Migration

flask db init

flask db migrate

flask db upgrade

---

6 Run Application

python app.py

Application runs at

http://127.0.0.1:5000
