Align SECURITY.md and the adoption limits with the published beta while preserving the deliberate npm tag split: beta is 0.1.0-beta.1, latest is still alpha.2 (verified 4 November). No registry tags or wire behavior change.
Record a completed exploratory human pilot: one participant, four excluded practice tasks, eight manual and four paste tasks. Original task identities, counters and time ordering were checked and the summary was recomputed from per-task records. All 12 measured tasks completed; the initial practice confusion and revised instructions are disclosed.
The pilot showed no advantage over a working number or short alias. RefMint manual median was 13.1 s versus 8.7 s for number and 5.1 s for alias; UUID was 33.9 s with one not-found query. Paste trials are kept separate. No statistical significance, population benefit or checksum error-reduction claim is made. De-identified numeric rows allow the table to be recomputed.
Documentation-only: existing PDF and synthetic comparisons are retained byte-for-byte; no runtime, package version or release change.
