Before: New users saw negative profit and "Unknown" values on day one, and nothing in the README explained why. The card's parts were not explained either, and the install steps skipped the HACS version prompt and the phone-app refresh.
After: A "Your first day" section explains that charging is booked as a cost straight away and the payoff comes at discharge. It also says when Efficiency, Payback and Pace start showing. A "Reading the card" table explains every part of the card. The install, card and update steps now match what Home Assistant and HACS actually show.
How: README only. It adds two sections, gives a one-line pointer from "Numbers look wrong?", and corrects the update path (Settings → update → Install) and the Payback sensor conditions.
