Before: The card only showed Today and This month. After every update, the phone app kept running the old card until the user reset the frontend cache and fully closed the app. The README pointed to a menu that no longer exists.
After: The card has a full-width Lifetime tile with "Since ". After an update, the card shows an orange "Battery ROI was updated" bar, and one tap reloads the page with the new card. The README troubleshooting line names the "Custom element doesn't exist" error and gives the fix for a first install: Troubleshooting → Reset frontend cache, then fully close the app.
How: The rate sensor now reports the integration
versionas an attribute. The card compares it with its ownCARD_VERSIONand shows the reload bar when they differ, and a test keeps the two versions in step.sensor.battery_roi_profit_totalgainstracking_since, and the card has a newtotaloption. Card screenshots were re-taken in Home Assistant 2026.2. Version bumped to 0.3.0. 19 tests pass.
