It occasionally crashes. Maintenance has been neglected recently. There have been several instances in the past where it was down for over a day.

Seems like there's no "A" or "CAA" Record, but does still have MX and NS. Odd to be sure, but there is still hope.

I access the site every morning, and noticed it was down, 3 days ago.

Judging by the fact that there are many things connected to the same IP, it seems to be a virtual server hosting.

Someone had make a mess in DSN config or deleted it for sure.
All we can do now is wait. If does not came back, we can always create a new one.

The operator seems to be Eastern European. Is it Poland or Russian?
Is it due to unpaid fees, equipment failure, or perhaps the DNS is in the .ru format, so traffic was automatically blocked?
The IDC appears to be from Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany.
The domain was registered anonymously and securely on a US website.
The domain is still active. Expiration date: 2026-01-09 T09:37:20Z

On macOS, I successfully connected by adding it as shown below. Thank you.

It works here as well.
On windows you have to open a CMD as administrator and run "ipconfig /flushdns" to clear dns entries, after that, xpenology.com comes online.

Confirmed. I just performed the sequence on my system, now accessing the site successfully. Looks like a Russian user on Friday commented on the DNS issue. I know there is a NAS Addicted discord (ARC Loader), but it seems to be a ghost town there.

You can do this on your Keenetic router for example - connect by Telnet/SSH and enter:
