Can't connect to settle up account that uses Google authentication

My settle up account uses Google authentication instead of email / password. Are there any plans to support this login type in the future? If not, are there any known work-arounds?

Hallo! I've been looking into this - I think I have a way to do it nicely, but it requires Settle Up to add my github io domain to an allow list.

If they're not happy doing that or you want a solution now, we can try a slightly more manual way - it involves recovering the refresh token you get when signing in. If you want to try that way, you can update the info of the repo and 'redownload' the v1.3.0rc2 version that will have the option to use an extracted refresh token.

Small issue with the v1.3.0rc2 version, if you open it in the home assistant companion app, the choices for auth method aren't visible. They are on desktop browser though. Haven't tried on mobile browser.

I was able to successfully grab a refresh token and log in. I am now showing settleup data in home assistant. Do you happen to have a card that you are using for this?

Hmm, that looks like it's using the old strings.. can you try force closing and reopening? I think it's a cache issue.
As for cards, I mostly care about the totals and use icons/emojis to indicate who's involved. I currently use a custom button card for the styling but you can do quite a lot in a markdown card:
