Location data is removed when uploading a photo with PiwigoNG

When uploading an image contain exif location data ( GPS coordinates ) it is removed even if the option to remove exif data is unchecked.

This has been reproduced when taking photo with the built-in camera or sharing images but not when selection an image with the file picker.

Any update on this? I'd appreciate to have the location data back

Hi, this is a limitation due to android, I didn't find a workaround that doesn't run in the same issue.

I'm still looking into it but this is in my backlog for now

EDIT : I opened an issue on google's tracker and the response was : expected behavior.

I see the same effect on my installation. Seems to be since a few months.
But it seems to be an Android security feature on my Pixel 9 (Android 16). I can also share a picture to send by email and the GPS information is finally set to 0.
Not sure if it makes a difference if I use my local gallery and share pictures there to the PiwigoNG App or if I use the upload feature direct from the PiwigiNG App.
