Summary

Prepare pixelml-av v0.2.0 for PyPI, updating package, runtime, lockfile and skill version metadata. This release includes the previously merged Jev-refined av ask pipeline and cookbook.

Clean-wheel validation exposed a missing default prompt for dense ingestion. Include that prompt in the wheel and resolve it in installed and editable layouts. Restrict the source archive to intended source, tests, cookbook, prompts, skill and package metadata.

Test plan

  • Build wheel and source archive with uv build; inspect contents and metadata.
  • Install the wheel in an isolated Python 3.11 environment; verify av version, av ask --help and Jev/refinement imports.
  • Existing suite against the clean installed wheel: 283 passed.
  • Python 3.11, 3.12 and 3.13 CI passed on final head 788be651f1b69c02f7bbde487cddef69c0c1aedb.

Publication uses the existing release-triggered PyPI trusted-publishing workflow after review and merge.

Reviewed exact head 788be651f1b69c02f7bbde487cddef69c0c1aedb: no remaining blocking findings.

The default dense-caption prompt is packaged under av/prompts/ and resolved within that namespace for installed wheels, with the existing repository path retained for editable installs. The source archive explicitly includes source, tests, cookbook, prompts, skill and package metadata. Version fields agree at 0.2.0; dependency lock entries are unchanged. CLI changes describe the existing refinement and optional inspection configuration.

Validation: 283 tests passed against the clean installed wheel; Python 3.11–3.13 CI passed on this head. Wheel/source contents and version metadata were inspected. The release will use the existing OIDC workflow and its environment approval.
