Linking models after initial creation

When a user runs redbeard controller sheep and later realises that it needs to be linked with redbeard controller -s sheperd it'd be nice to patch to add model links instead of a warning and not making any changes.

i've patched the reference properties in the thinky branch. but we could go a bit further now when we have the thinky.io in the system. we could generate the thinky relationships, well at least some of them, automatically
