Closes nothing. CI check before merge.

Each accepted control-socket connection is checked with getpeereid():
only uid 0 and the daemon's owner uid are served, as a second layer
behind the socket's 0600 permissions. Rejected connections are closed
before any byte is read, never hold a slot, and are logged at a bounded
rate. Accepts are capped at 64 per event. Daemon and client sockets set
SO_NOSIGPIPE so a peer that hangs up costs an EPIPE, not the process.
Socket tests run serialized with outcome-based waits.
