Conversation
- .compass/config.toml: project scope for Compass 0.3.28 (JSON store; the session records, agent/tool folders, team state and KBD state excluded). - compass-out/graph.json (2613 nodes, 4216 edges, 58 communities over 74 files) and compass-out/GRAPH_REPORT.md. Everything else in compass-out/ (snapshots, cache, HTML view) stays local and is gitignored. - MCP server `compass serve --transport stdio`, rendered with `compass agent mcp-config` for Claude Code (.mcp.json), Codex (.codex/config.toml) and OpenCode (opencode.json). Checks in a Compass code graph of this repository and configures its MCP server, so coding agents can navigate the code from the graph instead of reading broadly.
What's included
.compass/config.toml: Compass 0.3.28 project scope, using the JSON store (no SQLite sidecar). Excluded from the graph:.prometheus/(session records), the agent and tool folders (.agents,.codex,.dsh,.kimi-code,.opencode),.agent-team/and.kbd-orchestrator/.compass-out/graph.json: 2,613 nodes, 4,216 edges and 58 communities over 74 files (45 code, the rest docs and OpenSpec). It's about 5.8 MB of minified JSON on a single line.compass-out/GRAPH_REPORT.md: architecture summary with hubs and communities, and an agent orientation section.compass serve --transport stdio, which servescompass-out/graph.json. The configs were rendered bycompass agent mcp-configfor each harness:.mcp.json.codex/config.tomlopencode.json.gitignore: ignores the rest ofcompass-out/(snapshots, cache, the HTML view and run state), which Compass treats as local to each worktree.Checked
graph.jsonin an otherwise empty folder, compass servestarts (Compass 0.3.28) and lists 18 MCP tools, includingsearch_symbols,get_callers,get_callees,get_impact,query_graph,shortest_path,get_communityandtask_context.compass query "how does the store rebuild index.md"lands on the pk ingest rewrites wiki/index.md destructively (drops frontmatter and existing sections) #15 fix (MarkdownStore::rebuild_index_locked,render_index_preserving,write_atomic) with file and line locations.CLAUDE.mdand an OpenSpectasks.md).Things to know
compass update .orcompass ensureafter code changes; they rewritegraph.json, so it shows up as modified until the refresh is committed.compass agent mcp-configsupports only Claude Code, Codex and OpenCode, so Kimi Code, MiniMax and DeepSeek Harness get no config here. They can run the same command if they support stdio MCP..mcp.jsonserver.compasson its PATH.These are configuration and generated files only; there are no code changes.
