+I opened [PR #28](https://github.com/Prometheus-AGS/prometheus-knowledge-rs/pull/28) with the 17 new session records plus the updated `index.md` and `log.md`. The commit is `f63b91b`, on the branch `chore/karpathy-session-records-2026-10-03d`.
+
+This PR also restores this repo's own `index.md`, which the 1.8.0 worker had damaged. The reinstalled worker rebuilt it on its next run: it starts with the `okf_version: "0.2"` block again and lists all 38 session pages on disk. That's the issue #15 fix working against real data.
+
+The new lock file, `wiki/.index.lock`, exists but git ignores it, as intended. A secret scan of the records found nothing. When it's merged, tell me and I'll delete the branch so `main` is the only branch again.

+I built a Compass code graph of the repo and opened [PR #29](https://github.com/Prometheus-AGS/prometheus-knowledge-rs/pull/29) to check it in, with the MCP server wired up (commit `1ecb6f6`, branch `chore/compass-code-graph`).
+
+**The graph:**
+- **Coverage:** 74 files (45 code, plus docs and OpenSpec), giving 2,613 nodes, 4,216 edges and 58 communities. It builds in under a second.
+- **Excluded:** session records, the tool and agent folders, team state and KBD state.
+- **Accuracy:** a test query, "how does the store rebuild index.md", went straight to the issue #15 fix (`rebuild_index_locked`, `render_index_preserving`, `write_atomic`) with file and line locations.
+
+**What's committed:**
+- **`.compass/config.toml`:** Compass's project settings.
+- **`compass-out/graph.json`:** about 5.8 MB of minified JSON on a single line, so it isn't readable as a diff.
+- **`compass-out/GRAPH_REPORT.md`:** the architecture summary.
+
+The rest of `compass-out/` (39 MB of snapshots, the cache, an HTML view, run state) is now in `.gitignore`. Compass treats it as local to each worktree.
+
+**The MCP server** runs `compass serve --transport stdio`, which serves the committed graph. I rendered its config with Compass's own `agent mcp-config` command for Claude Code (`.mcp.json`), Codex (`.codex/config.toml`) and OpenCode (`opencode.json`). Compass has no config support for Kimi Code, MiniMax or DeepSeek Harness, so they got none.

+To check a fresh clone, I copied only `graph.json` into an empty folder: the server started and listed 18 tools, including symbol search, callers and callees, impact, path finding and task context.
+
+**Before relying on it:**
+- **Approval:** Claude Code asks once before enabling the project's `.mcp.json` server.
+- **Requirement:** every client needs `compass` on its PATH. On this machine that's a wrapper inside the `upstream-grok-compatibility` worktree folder, the same situation `openspec` was in before you installed it globally.
+- **Staleness:** the committed graph is a snapshot. Running `compass update .` or `compass ensure` after code changes rewrites `graph.json`, so it shows as modified until that refresh is committed.
+- **Privacy:** the graph has no secret-like strings. Its only absolute paths are three copied from text already in the repo.
+
+Two of my commands were denied along the way, a combined check and a fresh-clone test. I re-ran them as simpler steps, so nothing was skipped.
