Post the #127 closing comment and close the issue #139

Description

@quantecon-services

The last step of #132: close #127 the way #45 was closed on 2026-08-06 — one closing comment, then state_reason: completed.

Gate

Starts only when the decision item in #132 is closed and every Verify and Record item still in #132's list is closed (waived items have been removed from the list). The gate is stated in #132's body; it is phase-level, so it carries no dependency edges.

What the closing comment says

Following the #45 pattern, in this order:

  1. Every box has a verdict in the two verification comments; how many are ticked, and the disposition of each box that is not (reworded and ticked, refuted as written, waived), one line each, citing the decision item.
  2. Where each finding landed: business_cycle.py validate() rejects the committed snapshots under pandas 3: stack() no longer drops NaN #128 and validate_datasets.py: a relative manifest path crashes the failure report instead of printing the ::error line #129 fixed by Validation fixes: pandas-3 band check (#128), relative-path annotation (#129), and the builder layer in CI #131 (which also added the pandas 2.3.3 / 3.0.5 matrix and the --builders pass to validate-datasets); the CI-gating evidence on Throwaway, do not merge: #127 §3.3 CI-gating check with a deliberate manifest mutation #130 (closed unmerged, branch reset); the org-sweep result and the site-probe table (the latter on QuantEcon/workspace-lectures#40) if those items ran.
  3. Accepted residuals, named explicitly so nothing rides on VALIDATION: independent review of the 2026-09-07 schema-decisions, rename and manifest-driven validator work #127 staying open — the 240-odd unswept repositories if the sweep was waived, the FRED lag date if waived, the .ml gh-pages prune (ws#40's).
  4. The three checklist lessons for the next validation issue: this repository's history starts at LFS: scope it to sources/**, and stop fetching it in CI #57; the hash gate covers every recorded file; a checklist expectation about another repository's dashboard should carry the collection timestamp it was read at.

End with the Claude Code attribution footer if an agent posts it.

Exit criterion

#127 is closed as completed with that comment as its last entry, and #132's stamp is refreshed to say so.
