Changes

  • Watcher editor stuff
  • New rope props from Dakras
  • Fix for decal prop colors when used with "Gradients with BackgroundScenes" option
  • Support for #author tag on tiles and props. Now displays author in editor, and built-in tiles, props, and materials now have this property too.
    • Some rope/long prop categories have been merged as a result

Downloading

  • If you have an existing Community Editor installation (or any other Lingo family editor) and you wish to replace it, download EDITOR-ONLY and replace your executable with the one provided
  • If you do not already have an existing Community Editor installation:
    • If you do not have another editor installed, install either VANILLA, DOWNPOUR, or WATCHER depending on which assets you would like to have. These only change included assets, and neither depend on your bought DLCs (the assets can be used regardless).
    • If you have another editor installed (e.g. Henry's or Rained) or have Drizzle installed, you can also download EDITOR-ONLY and simply put both files in the data folder of the editor/Drizzle and it should function fine.

Changes

  • Level Layer Four feature by @LudoCrypt (awaiting RegionKit code)
  • Dense pipe-like custom materials by @LudoCrypt
  • Bugfixes to autotile materials by @mothth
  • Centered the text on all the buttons and made them a consistent size

Changes

  • New long props by April: Moss Drop and Moss Hang (and effect color variants)
  • New editor config option: "Rock types in large trash"
    • Does exactly what it says on the tin, causes rock type tiles to appear in large trash if set to TRUE (default).
    • Should have been in 0.4.63 but I forgot :monkblep:
  • Bugfix: rock tiles with no variations generating in large trash will no longer explode the render
  • Layer key in tile editor works properly again
  • Minor bugfixes

Small QOL update.

Changes

  • You can now move the entire light map by holding down X and moving your mouse
  • Holding down level scroll or movement buttons in most menus now continuously scrolls
  • New props editor keybind: Space+B, acts like normal prop sample, but it will additionally sample its settings, layer, scale, rotation, flip, and freeform quad so you don't have to meticulously recreate some prop you placed earlier again.
  • Tiles as Props categories now have their original tile category names instead of being named "Tiles as Props ##"
  • Voxel struct rock types are now eligible to appear in the props menu
  • Further tweaks to Hand Growers effect by April

  • Voxel struct rock types without variations that appear in large trash can crash the render (fixed in v0.4.64)
  • Tile editor layer key constantly switches layers when held (fixed in v0.4.64)
