This may need some workshopping but I think I at least got the gist.
The FAQ indicates that there is no offline mode, and that you must be connected when you start a game, and you must stay connected until you close the emulator to ensure everything gets synced.
I think it could do with some re-wording, so I'm definitely open to feedback here.
