Not all MT1959-based drives support UHD-BD based media with native firmware, so using MT1959-based drives as a basis rather than MT1959 Official UHD-BD drives works more consistently for this list. Tested on an unpatched Official UHD-BD LG WH16NS60 with a BD-66 copy of Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections for the PS5 and an unpatched BU50N. This should address Issue RibShark#48

BU40N is UHD official so there should be no problems reading UHD-BD on that firmware with MakeMKV. These firmware versions should work fine even when cross-flashed to another drive. It is possible that future firmware versions increased the performance for these discs, however. |
