The 2to3 metaclass porting is quite ugly :( Six may be the way to go. There are still 28 more failed test on 3 than on 2. Should I try to fix them, or is the code not stable enough for it to make sense? |

just a small change to handle
basestring/strissue in Python2/3.If you aim for a different strategy for 2/3 compat, let me know, I'll change it.
