SMARTastic now reads structured SMART data, preserves unavailable measurements, prioritizes actual failure indicators and avoids unsupported optional log queries on Apple NVMe drives. It discovers physical drives, keeps selection stable across refreshes and retains useful diagnostics when a scan is incomplete.
The native interface has consistent typography, compact metric rows, system-aware light/dark controls, circular macOS actions and a transparent scrolling header. New features include persistent 7/30/90-day write charts using real timestamps, hover/detail cards, contextual button help, Escape-to-clear search, full-row disclosure controls, refresh segments and JSON report export. Command-W minimizes the window so collection can continue. Five languages, artwork, README and screenshots are updated.
Version 1.1.0 ships as a Developer-ID-signed, Apple-notarized Universal app through GitHub Releases and localfoundry/homebrew-tap. Release scripts preserve submission provenance and support safe recovery without overwriting published assets. A dedicated signing job uses existing secrets in RobinBially/Locomni against the pinned SMARTastic source; signing material stays there.
