Implement a system of permissions & roles for managing write access to projects and the use of specific features. All related objects have permissions checks to ensure they belong to a project that a user has permission to access. Consider adding Organization level permissions & private projects instead of grouping by User (discuss).

The internal beta v2 is primarily focused on revisions to the user interface based on feedback gathered this year. This Production Readiness milestone is focused on lifting the backend out of beta and taking care of "behind the scenes" tickets. The primary goals are: 1) Fixing & scaling-up the backend services so that we can process the last 2 years of data for all internal partners. 2) Creating a safe & stable production environment so that processed & validated data is not lost. This may include other features such as better permissions & roles, exports, code clean up & performance optimizations. But the focus is delivering the results on the last 2 years of collected data.
