What is missing seems to be the following:

This allows to define classes that will add some proxy methods to specific library classes upon instrumentation. We use this to add proxies for the methods where SQLite expects a regular string based function to call them from C.

Adjustments for JDK17 compatibility.
This PR has some leftover changes from our local repo to remove some performance issues, I can split this up in two if required. I mainly wanted to get the JDK17 stuff online so we can start moving onto a more modern JDK foundation.
