DostBuch (from “Dost” = friend, “Buch” = book) is an open-source social networking application developed under the Swamajik Madhyam organization.
It is designed to foster genuine friendships, meaningful communities, and transparent online interactions — built with ethical design, privacy, and openness at its core.
Most existing social networks are driven by opaque algorithms that amplify harmful content, exploit user data, and prioritize engagement over well-being.
DostBuch takes a different path — a platform where transparency, trust, and community come first.
DostBuch is powered by two core repositories in the Swamajik Madhyam ecosystem:
- 🎨 TheSocial-UI → Frontend apps & shared UI components (built with Nx).
- 🔧 TheSocial-Backend → Backend services (CQRS + DDD architecture).
