Summary

• Move each bay's status light from the side column (#dots) into the bay as an .led element at the top, and remove the side column lights.
• Centre the drive name in the bay with writing-mode: vertical-rl and no rotation, so it reads top to bottom.
• Space bays with a 1.5px transparent border (background-clip: padding-box, 1px on medium) instead of a flex gap, and set will-change: transform only while a bay is hovered or touched, so every gap renders at the same width.
• Round the bay well to 10px and the visible bay corners to 7px.
• Narrow the power button to 14px and the USB port to 8px, separate the side column with a 1px seam, span it to the card edge and add a system light that is green while data loads.
• Let the bay tooltip grow to the widget width and move it to #root, so its position and its containing block share one origin.

Testing
All green, Docker build and e2e included. Added 2 tests for bay spacing and the per-bay light.
