Summary

  • Backup: set ctx.textAlign = 'left' before drawing the canvas text lines. Under dir=rtl the default start alignment anchored each line at its right end, so Persian lines ran past the card's left edge.
  • Books: on the three-shelf (large) card, book heights are 90 to 99% of the shelf instead of 72 to 95%. One-shelf cards keep their varied heights.

Testing
All green, including the Docker build and e2e. Added tests for the canvas text alignment and the book heights per shelf count.

Changelog

Fixed

  • Backup card text no longer runs past the card in Persian.
  • Large Books spines show more of each title.

Checklist

  • Stays within the project constraints: one container, no runtime dependencies, no build step (see CONTRIBUTING.md).
  • Tests added or updated for new logic, and the full suite, lint, and typechecks pass.
  • Docs updated if behavior or configuration changed.

… spines

- Backup: anchor the canvas text at its left edge, so right-to-left lines no
  longer run past the card.
- Books: on the three-shelf card, books stand 90 to 99% of the shelf, so
spines show more of each title.
