Summary

• Sync the template widget copy from app #393: data.js and demo.js return total: null when Show total is off; the page formats the total with formatNumber and lists up to three item names.
• Update the Build a custom widget snippets to read showTotal and format the total, and note that an unsaved toggle is absent from ctx.config.
• Add an unused glyph and a README line to the widget checklist.

Testing
npm run build and npm run check pass. Template preview checked in headless Chromium, light and dark, against the production build: renders the total and item names with no page errors.

Checklist

• npm run build and npm run check both pass.
• Product UI is shown by running or capturing it, never recreated in CSS.
• Any new preview or screenshot carries no private hostnames or real data.
• Visual changes verified in both colour schemes and both docs themes.
• Links to the app repo still resolve.
