MCP Servers

A collection of Model Context Protocol servers.

Servers

A standalone MCP server that turns a structured report description (title, author, abstract, sections, figures, tables) — or raw LaTeX — into a compiled PDF. Section bodies accept light Markdown (lists, bold/italic/code, links, Greek + symbols) with $...$ math passed through untouched.

Tools: write_report, compile_latex. See its README for the full schema and usage.

A standalone MCP server for airfoil geometry generation and XFoil aerodynamic analysis — a thin MCP layer over Airfoil Design & Analysis (part of the Aerodynamics repo). Fetch or generate a NACA/database airfoil, run an XFoil polar sweep or single-alpha Cp distribution, or compare multiple airfoils side by side — all runs against a live XFoil binary on your machine.

Tools: airfoil_get_geometry, airfoil_run_polar, airfoil_get_cp_distribution, airfoil_compare, airfoil_list_database. See its README for the full schema, setup, and usage.

Registering a server

Each server runs over stdio. Register with the Claude CLI (user-level shown):

claude mcp add latex_report -s user -- python3 \
  /path/to/MCP/latex_report_mcp/latex_report_server.py

claude mcp add airfoil -s user -- python3 \
  /path/to/MCP/airfoil_mcp/airfoil_server.py

Make sure the python3 on your PATH has each server's requirements.txt installed.
