This is a project used to explore text processing techniques and supervised and unsupervised ML models for text classification using news category dataset (kaggle).
- Clone text classification project in a local directory.
git clone https://github.com/SebastianRestrepoA/news_classification.git
- Create enviroment for run text classification project. In your cloned folder run the following commands:
virtualenv env
env\Scripts\activate
pip install -r requirements.txt
- Run the following python files and check results:
python news_classification.py
python topic_modeling.py
python dataset_characterization.py
