🏛️ ATLAS (Archive Tools & Library Automation Suite)

Version Tauri JavaScript License

ATLAS is a lightweight, cross-platform desktop application designed to streamline workflows for librarians, catalogers, and digital archivists. Built with a modern, glassmorphism UI, it serves as a centralized hub for data conversion, validation, and processing tasks required to maintain robust local historical archives and library systems.

✨ Core Features

  • Modular Architecture: A centralized dashboard hub for various library cataloging tools.
  • Zero-Dependency Parsing: Converts raw .mrk (MARC21) exports from Koha and Destiny into clean, structured CSV files natively in the browser engine.
  • Modern UI/UX: Features an interactive dashboard, drag-and-drop file zones, real-time analytics, dynamic table previews, and custom scrollbars.
  • Privacy First: All processing happens locally on your machine. No data is sent to external servers.

🧩 Current & Planned Modules

🟢 Active: MARC21 to CSV Converter
Instantly parse text-based MARC21 records into standard web-upload templates. Extracts standard subfields (Authors, Titles, Publication Years, Call Numbers) and intelligently classifies resource types (Books, Theses, E-Resources) using MARC leader bytes. Includes live search filtering and metric dashboards.
🟡 Coming Soon: MARC21 Field Validator (Placeholder)
A pre-upload scanning utility that flags missing call numbers, invalid dates, and incomplete titles in your `.mrk` exports to ensure high-quality database imports.
🟡 Coming Soon: Barcode & Spine Label Generator (Placeholder)
Automatically generate printable, standardized spine label sheets (e.g., Dewey or LC) and scannable library barcodes derived directly from catalog Call Numbers.
🟡 Coming Soon: Dublin Core / OAI-PMH Exporter (Placeholder)
Convert local repository records into standardized XML formats, ensuring seamless integration with larger digital heritage networks and institutional archives.
