Dependabot updates currently require manual merging, and SkillSpector mistakes the documented HTTP cancellation route for a filesystem deletion command.
Clarify the HTTP route without changing cancellation behavior or approval safeguards. Group weekly patch/minor dependency updates and merge them only when metadata identifies an eligible update, the PR contains exactly one signed Dependabot commit, and Repository QA, SkillSpector, and HOL Scanner all succeed for that commit. Major updates and unsuccessful checks remain open. The merge job runs its tested CI gate inline with no checkout, and does not change branch rules or release publishing.
Validation: repository QA passed all 48 tests; actionlint passed; the exact pinned HOL checkout rule was reproduced before the fix and is clean afterward; the merge gate accepted PR #4's real signed commit and CI results; pinned SkillSpector dropped the targeted finding (17 to 16 findings) with no new findings. GitHub CI must pass on the final head before merge.
