What Can You Do With CalendarApp?

• Create Multiple Profiles:

  • Set up different user profiles, each protected by a password.
  • Each profile can have multiple separate calendars (e.g., Work, School, Family).

• Manage Events Easily:

  • Add, edit, and delete events with details like title, date, time, location, description, and color.
  • Choose between all-day or timed events.

• Recurring Events:

  • Set events to repeat daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, hourly, or on a custom schedule.
  • Delete just one occurrence or the entire series for recurring events.

• Fuzzy Search:

  • Instantly search your events by title, description, or location—even with typos—using the search bar at the top right.

• Import & Export:

  • Import events from iCal (.ics) files.
  • Export your events to iCal format for use in other calendar apps.

• Print Your Calendar:

  • Print the current calendar view, including profile and calendar info, for a physical copy or PDF.

• Dark & Light Mode:

  • Switch between beautiful dark and light themes with a single click.

• Privacy First:

  • All your data is stored locally in your browser. No accounts, no cloud, no tracking.

How to Use

1. Open the App

   • Open calendar-app/index.html in your browser (no installation or server needed).

2. Create a Profile

   • Click "New Profile", set a password, and start organizing your life.

3. Add Calendars

   • Each profile can have multiple calendars. Create as many as you need (e.g., Work, Personal, School).

4. Add Events

   • Click on a date to add events. Set details, event color, and recurrence as needed.

5. Search, Import, Export, and Print

   • Use the search bar to find events quickly.
   • Import/export events using the buttons in the header.
   • Print your calendar for offline use.

6. Switch Themes

   • Use the theme toggle button to switch between dark and light mode.

Notes

• All data is stored in your browser. Clearing your browser storage will erase all profiles and events.
• For the best experience, use a modern browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari, Arc, Opera, etc.).
• No internet connection is required after the first load (except for importing/exporting .ics files).
