Quietly building sharp tools.
Silent Wolf Labs is an independent software lab focused on practical open-source tools for developers, systems, networking, automation, and agent workflows.
The projects here may span different problem spaces, but they share the same goal: build focused tools that are useful, understandable, and easy to work with.
Tools for auditing dependencies and planning safe upgrades.
A Rust GSMTAP parser and encoder, with a web workbench for watching, relaying and modifying live GSMTAP traffic. It also holds the libosmocore reference harnesses whose recorded C outputs osmocore-rs is tested against. Available on crates.io.
Idiomatic Rust implementations of selected libosmocore functionality: message buffers, bit and encoding utilities, CRC and convolutional coding, timers, finite state machines, rate counters and GSMTAP. Behavior is checked against recorded outputs from the C library. Available on crates.io.
Plugins and skills for coding-agent workflows. The skills use Codex and Claude Code, which can be installed from GitHub.
