Music. Linux. AI. Making things work together.
I make music, experiment with software, and build around the tools I actually use. Sometimes that means a new workflow. Sometimes it means getting a Windows music app running on Linux because I want to stay in my own setup.
Most of my projects start with a need: something I want to use, something that doesn't work yet, or something that takes too many steps. I work through it, document what helped, and look for a way to make the next person's setup easier.
If I solve something useful, I want to share it.
| Area | What I'm exploring |
|---|---|
| Music tools | Production workflows, plugins, and controller integration. |
| Linux compatibility | Getting creative software running through Wine and making setups repeatable. |
| AI & automation | Practical experiments that help me build, troubleshoot, and create. |
| Home lab | A place to test ideas and connect the pieces. |
Working through a Wine setup for Maschine and Native Access, with the aim of turning the findings into a streamlined setup others can reproduce.
- Confirmed so far: Maschine launches and activates; Native Access login and library access work.
- Still testing: audio playback, controller support, plugin compatibility, and installation from scratch.
This is an experiment in progress. I'll share the scripts and verified steps when they're ready—not account data or proprietary application files.
Interested in Linux audio, creative tools, or making an awkward setup easier? I'd like to compare notes.
