Consensus Governance Protocol (CGP)

A framework for constituent-led digital democracy.

CGP is a protocol for grassroots democratic governance that generates continuous, policy-level mandate through a triadic token system anchored to real-world fiat liabilities. Citizens deliberate on public policy in a distributed discussion substrate; politicians who deliver on ratified mandates are rewarded through an appreciating token whose value is bounded by the surplus generated by the tax pool that underwrites the system.

Documents

The current specification is the v0.4 document suite, located in /docs/:

  • Overview — entry point, structure of the suite, variants at a glance.
  • Core Protocol — architecture specification, token mechanics, PoD and PoR, Ohm's Law relationship.
  • Application Variants — SCGP, CCGP, NCGP, CoopCGP.
  • Governance — institutional stewardship, amendment process, bootstrap path.

A rendered static website version of these documents is available in /site/, suitable for GitHub Pages hosting.

Historical

The v0.3 single-document draft is preserved in /docs/archive/ as a referenceable ancestor. It is superseded by the v0.4 suite.
