What's Included

Live Slideshow Capture

Captures PowerPoint slideshows natively using Windows Graphics Capture (WGC), including animations, transitions, and embedded video. No screen region selection needed — the plugin detects the slideshow window automatically within half a second.

Two OBS Sources

• PPTLink Slide — live slideshow feed for your main scene.
• PPTLink Presenter View — full presenter layout with current slide, next slide preview, speaker notes, and slide counter.

Docks

Two docks are registered automatically under View → Docks:

• PPTLink: Next Slide — upcoming slide thumbnail and slide counter.
• PPTLink: Notes & Controls — speaker notes for the next slide, plus Prev/Next buttons.

Hotkeys

Assignable under Settings → Hotkeys:

• First Slide, Next Slide, Previous Slide, Last Slide.

Installation

Download obs-pptlink-0.9.0-windows-x64-Installer.exe from the assets below and run it. The installer will place the plugin files in the correct OBS directory automatically. Close OBS Studio before running the installer.

Alternatively, download the .zip archive and extract it into your OBS Studio installation directory (e.g. C:\ProgramData\obs-studio).

Known Limitations

• WGC capture border — Windows 10 draws a highlight border around the captured window. On Windows 11 this is suppressed automatically. On Windows 10, use full-screen slideshow mode to hide it.
• Multi-GPU (Optimus / hybrid GPU) — ensure OBS and PowerPoint run on the same GPU via Windows Settings → Display → Graphics.
