Getting Started

I assume you already know how to start an Android project, so here is the link to use SlimX.

repo init -u git://github.com/SlimXperiments/platform_manifest -b slim-master

there is no caf branch. Caf devices can feel the pain by setting in the device tree

TARGET_USES_CAF_FEATURES := true

Java

SlimX uses Java 1.7 by default. Java 1.6 can be used by setting..

export LEGACY_USE_JAVA6=1

To use openJDK 6, use..

export LEGACY_USE_OPENJDK6=1

Submitting Patches

Submitting a patch is always welcome, provided it does not break the build.

We do not have Gerrit, so you will need to send a pull request via github. If you do not know how to do this, or find out how to do this, you shouldn't be here. Go home.
