Feature Request: Modern Design System with Customizable Color Schemes, Animations & Enhanced UI Experience

First of all, thank you for the excellent work on Solvronix Desk. We really appreciate the active maintenance and the quick turnaround on reported issues.

While evaluating Solvronix Desk for our ERPNext implementation, one enhancement that would significantly improve the overall user experience is a more modern and customizable visual design.

Proposed Enhancements

1. Modern Color Schemes

• Multiple built-in color themes (Professional Green, Blue, Purple, Indigo, etc.)
• Gradient-based backgrounds
• Better accent colors
• Improved dark/light mode color consistency
• User-selectable theme presets

2. Modern Dashboard Design

• Rich KPI cards
• Better spacing
• Softer shadows
• Modern card styling
• More polished workspace layouts

3. Improved Charts

• Modern chart styling
• Better gradients
• Smoother rendering
• Improved chart colors for both light and dark modes

4. Micro Animations

• Smooth page transitions
• Hover effects
• Button animations
• Sidebar expansion/collapse animations
• Card hover interactions
• Dialog animations
• Loading transitions

5. Modern UI Components

• Better buttons
• Improved tables
• Modern form controls
• Better badges
• Better empty states

Motivation

We recently developed a modern React-based WMS application with a premium UI and found that users responded very positively to:

• Soft gradients
• Modern cards
• Better spacing
• Smooth animations
• Professional dashboards
• Consistent light/dark themes

It would be great if Solvronix Desk could offer a similar modern design language while preserving the existing ERPNext functionality.

Suggestion

Perhaps these enhancements could be introduced as an optional "Modern UI" mode or as additional theme presets, allowing existing users to continue using the current design while giving others the option of a more contemporary interface.

Thanks for the detailed writeup and the design references — really appreciate the thought put into this.

A few notes:

1. Some of this is already shipped in v1.3.0's "Polish Pass" (motion design tokens, layered card shadows with hover lift, gradient buttons, frosted-glass overlays on dropdowns/modals, reduced-motion support) — worth updating to the latest version if you haven't already, since some of what's described here may already be addressed.

2. The rest (additional color theme presets, dashboard/chart restyling, expanded component library, deeper branding config) is a much larger effort than a typical fix — we're tracking it as a roadmap item rather than a single PR, since it involves real design decisions across many components.

3. Your reference screenshots are a custom-built dashboard for your own app; a generic ERPNext theme can't replicate that layout exactly since workspaces are data-driven/configurable, not fixed pages — but the visual language (gradients, spacing, card style) is useful inspiration for the theme's own presets.

Keeping this open as a tracked enhancement. Thanks again for the feedback!
