Quick Start

# Clone and run the installer

Installation Levels

Level 1: Linux (Recommended)

bash installer/levels/install-linux.sh

Full Hermes Agent installation with all dependencies.

Level 2: Windows

installer\levels\install-windows.bat

Guides through WSL2 setup, then installs like Linux.

Level 3: Docker

docker compose -f installer/levels/docker-compose.yml up

How It Was Built

This entire ecosystem — 14 repos, 390+ files, every line of code, every piece of documentation — was built by Hermes Agent by Nous Research in a single autonomous session.

• No human wrote any code
• No human edited any documents
• No human selected any images
• The AI made every decision, wrote every word, committed every file

Why? Because rave culture has always been about technology meeting community. The Acid Tests had electric guitars. The Warehouse had drum machines. The rave fields had generators and speakers on trucks. Now Sonic-Forage has autonomous AI agents.
