Summary

• add a runnable qwdtt command for source-installed servers
• support qwdtt --version using embedded Go module metadata
• support interactive qwdtt update against the latest official GitHub release
• build the exact release tag as a static Linux/amd64 binary
• preserve server configuration, systemd unit, firewall rules, and access database
• atomically replace the server binary, retain a backup, and roll back when startup validation fails
• document installation, requirements, usage, and connectivity considerations

Validation

• bash -n scripts/qwdtt
• shellcheck scripts/qwdtt
• successfully built the v1.4.4 server from its official release tag
• successfully updated a live source-installed server from v1.4.3 to v1.4.4
• verified the service became active, expected ports were listening, and existing configuration remained in place
• manually tested the updated server connection with the PWDTT Windows client only

The updated server has not yet been manually tested with the qWDTT Android app.
