Summary
The 404 page's pet is now Patch, the painted wolf from the Space Works design system, instead of the hand-drawn golden retriever. It behaves the same:
runs toward the pointer, or toward a tap;
hops;
leaves fading paw prints;
wanders, then naps with floating z's;
when patted, closes its eyes happily and sends up hearts.
Artwork: the design system's own walk cycle,
mascot/original/walk/and the newly approvedwalk-left/(SpaceWorks-HQ/SpaceWorks-Design#9). It is packed as one 8-frame sprite sheet per direction inpublic/brand/patch/, about 59 KB each.Brand rules: Patch is never flipped or redrawn; heading left switches to the left-facing sheet. Running plays the cycle at double speed. Sleeping and patting use frame 6, where Patch's eyes are closed as drawn on the sheet. No shadow is added.
Dropped: the retriever's eyes followed the pointer; raster artwork can't do that.
Unchanged: still decorative (
aria-hidden, click-through) and still for reduced-motion users.README: the 404 screenshot is removed, and its file
docs/readme/screens/not-found.webpis deleted.Test plan
