Summary

Releases 0.12.0. VERSION, package.json and package-lock.json move from 0.11.0 to 0.12.0. The release workflow publishes a GitHub Release and the 0.12.0 images on the first main build of a new VERSION, and VPS installations pick it up from there.

  • CHANGELOG.md gets a 0.12.0 section for the three rounds of audit fixes merged in Audit fixes: three rounds of fixes from the multi-track Codex audits #49. It has upgrade notes, security, changed and fixed entries, known limitations, and the four migrations from 20261120000000_payment_audit_fixes to 20261120010200_offline_check_in_mutations.
  • docs/production-operations.md records the release's migration range.

Upgrade notes (also in the changelog)

  • Every web user signs in once more.
  • Stop the previous release within one hour of 20261120010100_storage_deletion_queue, and never run it against the database again. Roll back by restoring the backup.
  • External S3 keys need s3:ListBucketVersions and s3:DeleteObjectVersion.
  • Backups refuse to run unencrypted.
  • The mobile API's review submissions require answersRevision.
